Stanovení objemové kapacity terminálů a jejich nákladů v podmínkách logistické společnosti

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a definition of volume capacity of selected new terminals and their operational costs. Terms such as transportation, logistics technology, classification of costs or budgeting methods of overhead costs are defined in the theoretical part. Further on the actual layout of terminal network in Prague that will be replaced next year with new facilities is described. Practical part is based on the calculation of size of terminals followed by a list of all incurred costs. Facility Sizing Tool provided by DHL Express (Czech Republic) s.r.o. was used to define the volume capacity of the terminals. Operational costs have been calculated using budgeting methods for overhead costs based on the combination of real historical costs in the previous period and base unit budgeting method. In order to define certain cost types I used so called Zero Based Budgeting method. Eventually, the results achieved during the analysis and calculation are summarized.
