Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on inventory management in the company. Through ABC analysis are individual inventory items analyzed and then divided into groups A, B and C. The goal is to minimize bound funds in stocks and ensure that there is no shortage of stocks. The important point is to calculate the optimal order batch, safety stock, and proposing an appropriate refilling system. The theoretical part describes the function of inventory, ordering systems, and the costs associated with holding and ordering supplies. It also explains the connection between the size stock and profitability of capital. The conclusion is devoted to recommendations and improvements in the field of inventory management and proposals within each group ABC analysis.
