Konkurenceschopnost konkrétního podniku

Abstract

Diplomová práce je věnována analýze konkurenceschopnosti konkrétního podniku. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda je firma konkurenceschopná, jaké je její postavení na trhu vůči konkurentům a jak je na tom z hlediska finančního zdraví. V první části jsou charakterizovány základní pojmy a teoretické hledisko analýz sloužících k hodnocení konkurenceschopnosti podniku. Dělící kapitolou mezi teoretickou a praktickou částí je kapitola s charakteristikou analyzovaného podniku. Ten je představen z hlediska předmětu svého podnikání, produktového portfolia a také z organizačního hlediska. Praktická část obsahuje detailní provedení PEST analýzy a Porterovy analýzy pěti konkurenčních sil, benchmarkingové srovnání s konkurentem prostřednictvím srovnání objemů prodejů a predikce prodejů, určení pozice srovnávaných firem v GEC matici a srovnání výsledných ukazatelů finanční analýzy obou podniků. Součástí této kapitoly je také sestrojení BCG matice. V závěru je vypracována SWOT analýza, která byla podpořena dotazníkovým šetřením. Na základě zjištěných skutečností bylo navrhnuto několik návrhů a doporučení.

The thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the competitiveness of a specific company. The goal of the thesis was to determine whether the company is able to be competitive, what is its market position against competitors and its financial health. In the first part there are characterized basic concepts and theoretical aspects of analysis for evaluating competitiveness. Chapter which divides the theoretical and the practical part is the chapter icluding the characteristics of the analyzed company. The company is presented from the point of view of the object of its business, product portfolio, and also from an organizational point of view. The practical part contains detailed PEST analysis and Porter's analysis, benchmarking comparisons with a competitor by comparing sales volumes and sales forecasts, determining the position of the compared companies in the GEC matrix and the comparsion of the results of the financial analysis of both companies. As a part of this chapter, there is also BCG matrix constructed. In the conclusion is the SWOT analysis, which was supported by (results gained from) questionnaires. It has been suggested several suggestions and recommendations based on the findings.
