Abstract
This master thesis is focused on the adjustment of player selection and adaptation processes in a selected team of ice hockey in the Czech Republic's top league, Tipsport Extraliga. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the current processes of player selection and adaptation in the chosen team and to propose modifications and recommendations for further improvement of these processes, primarily utilizing advanced hockey statistics and programs.
