Návrh zástavby proluky v Moravské Ostravě

Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with theoretical urban regeneration and the use of vacant sites in the context of historical city centres. The thesis also contains a practical example of a new building in the vacant site of the Ostrava city centre. After considering a few variants, a new compact city block with underground parking and private courtyard was chosen as the most convenient solution. Following the local city structure, the city block was divided into ten separate buildings. One of these building was designed in detail of documentation for application for construction situation permission.
