Abstract

Fialová, M. The Effect of the Test Specimen Orientation on the Transition Temperature TSP Determined by Small Punch Tests, Ostrava: Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, 2011, 28 p. Head of Bachelor Thesis, Matocha, K. The task of this bachelor thesis is to determine the transition temperatures TSP determined by Small Punch Tests for three different sample orientation, longitudinal, transversal and short transversal directions and to determine whether the sample orentation can affect the results of this test. Introduction describes types of penetration tests and the principal factors that may affect the test results. The experimental section describes the course of Charps - V impact tests and Small Punch Test. The results were evaluated by means of graphs and tables. Then they were compared.
