Financování mládežnického basketbalového klubu

Abstract

The main goal of this thesis was to approximate all activities and duties of manager which relate to financing for healthy run of a club during the season. It refers to all possible activities of financing which are necessary to be done for Youth Basketball Club. During the research I used an individual interview with the manager of TJ Gymnázium Hladnov club and after that I used documents, which were provided by club. I found out, what is necessary to be done by manager for getting enough funds. Club gains finance mostly from membership fees, sponsorship, commercials and grants. I recommended to the club in which case it is necessary to increase membership fees, how to efficiently use sponsorship and commercials, how to get more money from sponsors and how to improve their services when they get more finances. I recommended focusing on media with any success, because in this way it can attract more attention and get into the awareness of the general public and because of that club should have more funds for the club budget.
