Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of disadvantaged groups of people in the labor market. Besides general aspects of this phenomenon and definition of disadvantaged groups in the labor market, it deals with role of employment policy in promoting the inclusion of disadvantaged groups in the labor market. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the impact of disadvantaged groups of unemployed on the level of unemployment in the Moravian-Silesian Region and to propose recommendations aimed at improving the situation of disadvantaged persons in the labor market. The thesis uses deductive-theoretical approach, which means that it proceeded from theory to practice.
