Finanční analýza podniku

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na finanční analýzu největší pojišťovny v České Republice, Česká pojišťovna, a.s. Podnik byl vybrán na základě dostupnosti dat a hlubších znalostí pojišťovnictví. Práce byla rozšířena o SWOT analýzu (Analýza vnitřních a vnějších stránek) a porovnání ČP s konkurencí. Ta byla vybrána na základě velikosti podílu na českém trhu. Informace o konkurenci byly čerpány z výročních zpráv pojišťoven v jednotlivých letech. Cílem mé práce bylo zhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku. V závěru jsem došla, že Česká pojišťovna, a.s. je zdravý podnik a jedním z největších nedostatků je zmenšující se podíl na trhu. Tento nedostatek jsem dále řešila v doporučení pro další období, kde bylo navrhnuto 6 bodů, které by mohli mít pozitivní reakci na daný problém.

This bachelor thesis is about financial analysis of the biggest insurance company in the Czech Republic, Ceska Pojistovna, Ltd. The company was chosen due to easy available free data for me and deeper knowledge of the insurance system. The thesis was expanded by SWOT Analysis (Analysis of inner and outer sides of a company) and comparison with its rivals. The competitors were chosen according to their number of market share. The main inputs of information were data from annual reports in each year. The goal of my thesis is finding out if the company is healthy or not. The result was that Ceska Pojistovna is a healthy company and one of the biggest troubles for the company is that every year it has got smaller and smaller number of market share. This I have solved in the last part. There are described six points, which could have a positive reaction on the problem.
