Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focused on the economic analysis of a selected company in the craft brewing industry for the period 2019-2023. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the financial health of the company using quantitative methods of financial analysis such as absolute and ratio ratios, pyramid decompositions, and bankruptcy and creditworthiness models. Furthermore, qualitative factors were also considered through PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model and SWOT analysis. In the theoretical part, the methods used were presented. In the practical part, they were applied to a specific company based on data from financial statements and annual reports. The results showed that the company is economically stable. The qualitative analysis identified key opportunities and threats arising from market developments. Based on the findings, recommendations were proposed to increase efficiency, innovate the product portfolio and better adapt to the changing business environment.
