Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the competitiveness of small sized enterprise. The examined enterprise is the advertising agency Alfa reklama, s.r.o. operating in the market with the promotional items, ad production rental of advertising space, with the safety signs and the navigation boards. The author wants with description of external and internal business environment, characteristics of internal and external factors influencing to the enterprise and wants to describe and evaluate the current situation and competitiveness of the enterprise with the applying of the six selected methodologies. The work consists of four chapters, contains 6 figures, 8 tables, 12 graphs and 6 attachments. The first chapter deals with the definition of the basic terminology categories. We define the business environment and explain the essences of the selected methods, which we use to evaluate the competitiveness of the enterprise. The second chapter deals with the characteristics of the examining enterprise. The third chapter explains the methods used for the examination of the /this issue. We analyze the current situation of the enterprise and its environment and evaluate the results. The fourth chapter consists of the suggestions and the recommendations for improvement of the identified deficiencies and increase of competitiveness.
