Abstract
This work is in the first chapter deals with international banking institutions. World
Bank and International Monetary Fund. It describes the reasons for thein establishment,
functions, activities and impacts on global economic and financial affairs. The second
chapter of this work is focused on implementation and input euro to the Czech
Republic. Here I describe the criteria that are necessary for adopting the new currency
and performing these criteria. In conclusion, I perform economic development
compared with countries with which the Czech Republic is a commercial connection or
are at similar economic levels.
