Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I dealt with temperature measurement. In the first chapters, I analyzed the basic concepts. I defined the terms of temperature and its classification. I explained what measurement is, and I also described the sensors, with their basic requirements and properties. Subsequently, in my bachelor thesis I analyzed the possible ways of measuring the temperature, i.e. that the temperature can be measured by direct method or the indirect method, and also listed a description of the gauges of each method. In my thesis, I also focused on more accurate sensors and I described its properties. In the last phase of my bachelor thesis, I designed the Arduino processor system and I simulated it using the Proteus program, where I used the DS18820 sensor connected to the Arduino Uno board to display the temperature on the display.
