Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an information system for the management of a handball tournament. The primary goal of the system is to ensure effective control over the entire tournament process, from team registration and match scheduling to recording match results and presenting them to the schema_dspacedb.

The proposed information system consists of three main components: a web application, a backend layer, and a database storage. The web application provides a user-friendly interface for tournament organizers, coaches, and scorekeepers. The backend ensures data processing, application logic, and communication between the web interface and the database. The database is designed for the secure and efficient storage of information about teams, matches, results, and statistics.

The resulting application offers users an intuitive interface for tournament management while allowing the public easy access to results and statistics.
