Studium mechanizmu zadření hřídele a kluzného ložiska

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to determine the probable seizure mechanism of plain bearings. The theoretical part is devoted to a brief characterization of shafts and bearings and describes the materials used for the manufacture of these components. It also describes the damage mechanisms that take place at the bearing-shaft contact during their operation. The experimental part is introduced by a description of the methodology for testing plain bearings. The aim of the experimental part is then to comment on the changes in the microstructure of the supplied bearing samples after the seizure test and to describe the probable mechanism of seizure based on the microstructures investigated. Based on the understanding of this mechanism, it would be possible to further improve the existing methods for the preparation of Al-Sn-Si based plain bearings.
