Flotace černého uhlí v závislosti na stupni oxidace povrchu částic

Abstract

This diploma thesis was designed in order to verify the Chang's study with title Understanding and Improving the Flotation of Coals with different Degrees of surface Oxidation. The research in this diploma thesis answers two questions. How affects the degree of coal surface oxidation the flotation and how to improve coal floatability with different degrees of surface oxidation. It has been found that coal flotation is decreasing with increasing degree of surface oxidation. To improve flotation of the oxidized coal sample, mineral engine oil was used as a non-polar collector and oleic acid as a polar collector. Flotation tests have shown a significant increase in oxidize coal flotation after the addition of oleic acid and a close relationship between the degree of oxidation of the coal surface and the participation of oleic acid as the collector.
