Efektivní nakládání s ocelovým odpadem a jeho recyklace

Abstract

In this thesis, I am dealing with both the historical and mainly present meaning of waste metal and it´s recycling as an integral part of steel manufacturing and products made of it. The first chapter shortly describes the history of steel manufacturing as well as types, occurrence and sources of waste metal and its usability. The second chapter is focused on methods of waste metal management, including technologies for treatment and processing of waste metal and waste generated during recycling. The third and last chapter contains an economic and ecological comparison of selected techniques and technologies for waste metal treatment and recycling. This bachelor thesis should clarify the meaning of the waste metal recycling and its importance for the economy and society.
