Abstract

Annotation The purpose of this bachelor's the sis is focused on the possibilities of improving the elements of protection during emergencies, fire protection and especially the protection of the population during the extraction of mineral resources in quarries in the territory of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis, a mining company operating in the Czech Republic ispresented, where the state of mineral extraction, processing technology in quarries and the protection of the population in thein vicinity are described in terms of current legislation. In thepractical part thereis a list ofevents in the quarries, thein surroundings and history in the Czech Republic. In thepractical part, there isananalyzed study of the possible threat to the population due to an extraordinary event of activities in the quarry, possible suggestions and recommendations for improvement.
