Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the issue of crisis management in the context of a selected business entity operating in the tourism sector. The aim of the thesis is to determine the crisis profile of the enterprise through the identification of major risks and their potential impacts, followed by the elaboration of relevant crisis scenarios and preventive measures. The theoretical part provides an overview of the fundamental concepts and methods of crisis management, including tools for the strategic analysis of the internal and external environment (SWOT, PEST, VRIO, and the 7S model). The practical part focuses on the analysis of a specific enterprise, in which crisis hotspots are identified, the level of risk is evaluated, and crisis matrices are developed. The outcome is a proposal of a systematic crisis management framework that contributes to enhancing the company’s resilience to unforeseen events.
