Optimalizace plánu rozvoje personálu ve vybrané dětské skupině

Abstract

The issue of professional development of employees within the Elánek childcare group was analysed. The main objective was to assess the current status of planning, implementation, and evaluation of staff development and, based on the findings, to formulate effective and financially feasible optimization recommendations. A mixed-methods research strategy was applied, including a questionnaire survey conducted among employees and a semi-structured interview with the facility's director. Key barriers to development, specific staff needs, and areas requiring greater attention were identified—such as the lack of systematic planning, insufficient thematic coverage of training courses, and limited support for personal growth. As an outcome, a set of proposals was developed, including the implementation of an annually updated development plan, expansion of training topics, support for internal mentoring and supervision, and increased contributions to external training. These measures are expected to enhance staff professionalism and motivation, thereby improving the quality of care provided.
