Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis was the proposal and evaluation of a change in the working regime of a semi-automated warehouse in an industrial company, which deals with the production of plastic parts. The change consists in switching to a continuous operating regime. Currently, the warehouse only works during morning shifts of the working days. The thesis specifies the problems caused by the current work regime, defines the proposal to change the work regim of the warehouse and evaluates the expected logistics and economic benefits of the proposal.
