The bachelor thesis deals with the radiation protection of dental surgery personnel, using information provided by the staff of the dental centre in Fulnek. The theoretical part describes the basics of ionizing radiation with a focus on the formation and properties of X-rays. This part also contains information about basic legislation, the principles of radiation protection and detectors of ionizing radiation. The practical part deals with the dental centre in Fulnek and its equipment. The conclusion of the thesis is about the description and evaluation of the experimental measurement carried out in the institution.
