Abstract
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is design software with graphical-user interface for blood vessel analysis. The main feature of this software is doing extraction of blood vessel and filtering remaining background from images which were taken by MRI and CT. In this thesis there is explanation of design the software for processing and analysis of medical images where are implemented algorithms for segmentation of blood vessel and filtering background. Furthermore there are explained basic principles imaging methods, options of segmentation usual images and options of blood vessel analysis.
Testing of this software on real medical images has been possible by cooperation with Trinec Hospital which provided samples of the 25 patients records from magnetic resonance angiography and computed tomography angiography.
