Činnost složek IZS při mimořádné události s hromadným postižením osob

Abstract

This work describes aktivity of bodies of integrated rescue service in extraordinary events which, due to their range and character,can cause a big damage to health, lives or possession. Work is divided into 14 chapters including appendices in a separate part. The introduction of the work contains structuring of extraordinary events and situation description in the Czech Republic. Following parts describe activies in the place of accident, which help find the best way to deal with the extraordinary event. One part of the work is devoted to the profession of an officer in charge, his duties, and to a method START which describes sorting casualties. The end of the work attends to identification of dead bodies as a part of work of specialised units especially abroad and conditions of transporting human remains. The work also includes suggestions for improvement of the current state.
