Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of near-miss reporting system in a selected manufacturing company. The aim of the thesis is to propose a system for reporting near misses including tools for motivating employees to prevent OSH risks. The theoretical part deals with the description of near misses and possible tools to motivate employees to report near misses, whether they are involved or only witnesses. The practical part deals with the analysis of the existing system of reporting near misses in a specific company and then testing the newly proposed system. The paper concludes with employee feedback on the newly proposed system to improve and increase near-miss reporting.
