Implementace prvku SBC v sítích s technologií VoIP

Abstract

This thesis deals with the functions and implementation of SBC in networks with VoIP technology. This element protects the hidden network behind external IP address. Attackers and users from external networks do not know the topology of internal networks behind SBC. In this way SBC protects SIP internal infrastructure elements witch are not exposed nor easily detectable with the contents of SIP session sessions. In addition SBC provides detection of attacks, such as Dos or SIP attacks, and also providing NAT support. This functionality has been implemented on a selected open source SBC solution. The security features of the SBC element were monitored and tested and its functionality was evaluated.
