Polyfunkčný dom v Ostrave

Abstract

The subject of this thesis is the development of project documentation for the construction work of Polyfunctional building in Ostrava (only part of the building). The building is situated in the city borough Ostrava - Poruba. The architectural study (ATT II.) and the documentation for building permission (ATT Va.) were the basis for the processing of this documentation. Urban design vulnerably reacts to the surrounding of the buildings and the overall structure of the city borough Ostrava-Poruba which is built in the architectural style of socialist realism. The mass complements the town square near the crossroad between the Opavská road and the 17. listopad avenue and at the same time it allows a new extension of this city borough by its shape and the continuity to a an unique urban unit of the mid-twentieth century. The building is used for habitation, administration and partially is exploited for commercial use.
