Abstract

The presented work deals with the operation of quarry drilling rigs. That means tophammer drillrigs or down the hole drillrigs used particularly in the preparation of blasting. The work is focused on monitoring costs and economic management. In the beginning of this work are a detailed descriptions of all costs and their distribution to the fixed and variable. Following is an example of the costs of drilling abroad. The next section shows the amount of the costs of specific selected sites in the Czech republic. Following part of the work focuses on proposals to monitoring, evaluating and reducing costs. Fixed cista are dealt separately , where the turning points are evaluated under different conditions. Proposals to the reductions of variable costs are solved separately. In the conclusion is a summary of recommended actions.
