Ochrana ekonomických zájmů spotřebitele v souvislosti s uzavíráním spotřebitelských smluv v právu EU

Abstract

The subject of diploma thesis „Protection of the Consumers´ Economic Interests in the Context of the Consumer´s Contracts Conclusion in EU Law “ is the analysis of the consumer protection policy in the European Union, especially protection againstdeceptive and comparative advertising and unfair trade practices. The aim of the first part is to present unfair competitionin general way because protection against it is based on it. In the second part, the thesis focuses on consumer´s protection against unfair advertising and trade practices. There are discussed directives 2006/114/ESondeceptive and comparative advertising. The third part deals with unfair trade practices within the EU internal market. The thesis discusses the directive 2005/29/ES concerning unfair business-to-consumer commercial practices in the EU internal market. Implementation of particular legal documentsinto the Czech legislation is explained in the thesis as well.
