Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the spa, which has a long tradition with us and it’s a very popular tourism sector currently. The aim of this thesis is to valorize tourism potential of the Sulphur Spa Ostrožská Nová Ves and its currently position on a tourism market. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. In the theoretical part the theoretical foundations of tourism and spas are there. The practical part is devoted to the characteristics of Sulphurous Spa Ostrožská Nová Ves, to the localization of the tourist attractions in the area and their development in the tourism. The creation of SWOT analysis and marketing survey was the basis for obtaining information. Subsequently the proposals and recommendations were created for the development of tourist potential in tourism of the Sulphurous Spa Ostrožská Nová Ves.
