Dostupnost vybraných služeb sociální péče ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the assessment of the availability of homes for the elderly. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the system of social care in the Czech Republic was characterized, social policy including its goals, principles, functions and actors, social services including the issue of their availability. Much of the work is devoted to socio-demographic data that expresses the increasing pressure on the availability of homes for the elderly. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the territorial and capacity availability of homes for the elderly in the Zlín region during the years 2012-2022. This period was chosen to make the data as up-to-date as possible, at the same time available and covering a longer time horizon. In accordance with the aim of the work, this work further deals with the development of the number of facilities and beds in comparison with the development of the number of seniors, the number of workers in direct care and the geographical location of these facilities.
