Abstract

This essay deals with the inclusion of volunteer fire units in the dealing of emergencies involving hazardous substances in the 1st. degree of alarm. In the first part of this essay is elaborated the statistics of events with regard to the types of units. It is followed by a description of the emergency events according to the applicable regulations and direction. In the subsequent sections are listed hazardous objects and areas in the Plzeň region. The essays ‘main section contains a list and selection of Fire Rescue Units and SDH, that should participate in the Region on dealing of emergency incidents with present of hazardous substances. There is also elaborated a proposal for the basic equipment for solving the above-mentioned events and periodization and content of volunteer units training. In conclusion of the essay is elaborated list of units for specific hazardous objects and areas.
