Zhodnocení spolupráce obcí Mikroregionu Žulovsko

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the cooperation of municipalities of the Žulovsko Microregion in the period 2019-2023. The thesis is based on the theoretical background of public administration, fiscal federalism and inter-municipal cooperation in the context of the Czech Republic. Within the practical part, it focuses mainly on the analysis of revenues and quantification of the obtained effect. Secondary impacts of the implemented subsidy projects on the quality of life of residents and the development of services in the region are examined. The aim of the work is to assess whether the share of membership contributions corresponds to the national standard and whether and to what extent membership in the association is beneficial for individual municipalities and the whole region. The thesis is based on a quantitative approach and uses a combination of several research methods, descriptive statistics, time series analysis, inference method, comparison method using binary code, synthesis and data visualization method. The results show that the collaboration brings economic benefits to the municipalities and contributes to improving the quality of life in the micro-region. The paper concludes with recommendations for making collaboration more effective.
