Abstract

This thesis is dedicated the evaluation of tensile and fracture behaviour of a welded joint by penetration tests. In the theoretical part are the reasons of small symple which is then used to evaluate the penetration tests against standardized methods. The following are the types of penetration testing conducted and described in detail the principle of ball penetration test, which I detail in this thesis dealt with the subsequent procedures to evaluate the strength and brittle properties In the experimental program are subtracted and compared in the yield point, tensile strength and Fracture Appearance Transition Temperature in the base material, weld metal and heat affected zone using standardized methods and penetration testing.
