Abstract

The bachelor thesis discusses the use of contemporary technologies during the preparation of blasting operations in the quarry of Kaplice. The aim is to verify how useful the application of contemporary procedures during surveying, engineering and performing of blasting operations is. The main method used is the comparison of contemporary and older, conventional, procedures. Currently, the contemporary procedures are applied because of the increase of occupational safety when performing of blasting operations. Besides the standpoint of occupational safety, the technical and economic points of view, as well as the ecological one, are also discussed. Last but not least, the result of the thesis is a suggestion for other processes when performing of blasting procedures in the locality of Kaplice.
