Úprava křižovatky silnice I/53 - II/408 v blízkosti města Znojmo

Abstract

The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the current status of intersection and then suggest three possible options for reconstruction of the intersection near the town of Znojmo on the roads I / 53 and II / 408. In all three variants roundabouts were designed. In the first scenario, the project plans simple roundabout, in the second is added bypass and in the third variant is made a new proposal for two arms, which solves the existing inadequate crossing angle. Furthermore, a survey of traffic intensity was conducted, which served as a basis for further calculations and preparation for analysis of traffic accidents. All design options were considered for pass ability with software AutoTURN. The conclusion is devoted to assessing the most effective proposal, which was further processed.
