Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the processing and disposal of sludge, which arises during the treatment of wastewater at the industrial treatment plant of DEZA a.s. Sludge is the main waste product generated in the wastewater treatment process. The purpose of sludge treatment is to prevent adverse effects on human health and the environment. Thesis first focuses on the origin, characteristics and sludge treatment. A significant part of the task
is devoted to the chemical plant, where biological sludge is formed, where I tested the intensification of sludge dewatering in laboratory conditions on a centrifuge of type NF-800.
