Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of franchising in McDonald´s. In the theoretical part the term franchising will be explained as well as further terms connected to it; part of this legal regulation as for commercial, civil, licensing, administrative and labour law will be, too. In the practical part the process of obtaining the license of McDonald´s is described. Company functioning is to be evaluated by SWOT analysis. Recommendations assuring the company to stay on the top in its field will be provided. Franchising chain of McDonald´s will be compared to the other chains of the same field and obtaining the license of McDonald´s will be evaluated.
