Statistická analýza vlivu pandemie COVID-19 na chirurgickou péči o pacienty s nádory gastrointestinálního traktu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis was written within the project Effect of COVID-19 pandemic on surgical care for patients with solid tumors of gastrointestinal tract in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the analysis of data from patients from two university hospitals in the Czech Republic who were diagnosed with a primary gastrointestinal cancer in 2018-2021. The first part is devoted to epidemiological studies and their implementation procedure. Subsequently, the medical concepts that accompany the work are introduced. Before the actual analysis, which is the main aim of the thesis, the statistical methods and tests used are presented. As complete data for the whole Czech Republic were not available at the time of the preparation of the bachelor thesis, the thesis is only an example of a possible way of processing in case the data would be a representative sample.
