Renata Zdarilova, Ph.D. The subject of the work was to analyze the current state of barriers in the city of Příbor and based on this analysis of the current state and evaluation of shortcomings, a proposal for a possible solution was to be made. The analysis covered public transport stops, pedestrian crossings, crossing points, the condition of pedestrian roads and building entrances. Emphasis was to be placed on making public spaces accessible in connection with civic amenities, transport services and connecting the centre with the rest of the city by means of barrier-free routes. The analysis is made on the basis of a survey of the area and photo documentation. Based on the analysis, critical points are evaluated, for which possible solutions of barrier-free modifications are proposed. A brief economic evaluation is created for selected proposals. The work is prepared in accordance with relevant legislation and Czech technical standards.
