Abstract
The submitted bachelor thesis focuses on the responsibilities of a building manager on the operating of elevators and other lifting devices in the building of the Faculty of Safety Engineering.
Based on the requirements of current legislation and technical standards, a practical tool was created that provides an overview of the duties of the designated person (building manager) to enhance the operational safety of elevators.
