Abstract
This thesis deals with leak detection solution of the coke oven gas and benzene into the chemical part of the coking plant. This work describes the coke oven gas extraction from coke oven batteries and the production of raw coke benzol. There is also summarized the legislation of explosion protection and safety at work with these substances. In the theoretical part there is summarized the principles of gas analyzers and the most commonly used sensors. The practical part summarizes continuous detection of carbon monoxide in the air of turbo exhausters that are located in the buildings and also using the exists benzene detection in engine room of benzole distillation to the automatic shutdown of the technology.
