Abstract
The subject of the diploma thesis is financial analysis of Severočeské doly a.s. for the period of 2012-2016. To achieve the goal are used methods of financial analysis. The thesis is divided into several chapters that follow each other. The theoretical part defines information about selected company, basic concepts related to financial analysis and describes the methods used in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part deals with the creation of a financial analysis on the basis of the available data, while the practical part includes suggestions and recommendations, which are based on financial analysis.
