Abstract

Diploma thesis deals with the stock analysis and management of stocks in a selected industrial company. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, inventory theory and inventory management. Then a selected industrial company is introduced, including a description of its activities and the current state of inventory management. In the practical part, the knowledge gained in the theoretical part is applied. Thereafter recommendations are proposed to optimize company inventory.
