Abstract

The substance of this work and its content is familiarization with the name backing-up. There are also emphasized main reasons why to make a back up. Matter of courses there are explanations of a few basic notions. Further follows possibilities of ways of backing-up according to selected criterions and their positives and negatives. Different computer programmes functional to backup data on computers were tested and to each of them were introduced a description, a characterization of a programme and direct experience from testing itself. In the practical part is processed a recommendation or a back-up plan with specification of the most suitable medium, a software and a time of a back-up. At the end of the work is given an evaluation and a formulation to an elaboration.
