Abstract

The influence of the possibilities of using biochar for the regulation and distribution of nutrients in the soil environment. Different types of pyrolytic carbons were selected (pyrolytic carbon from tyres, pyrolytic carbon from wood, pyrolytic carbon from tetrapack and activated carbon). The practical part of this influence was performed sorption of nutrients (depending on the form of occurrence of N, P) from solutions and evalution the sorption efficiency. The best kind for regulation and distribution of nutrients in the soil environment, I chose biochar prepared by pyrolysis of wood. This material showed the best sorption capacity for ammonium ions and activated carbon that has been proven highest adsorption capacity of the sorbent.
