Autonomni senzor pro měření radiace

Abstract

This Master's thesis deals with design of an autonomous sensor for measuring radiation on the platform of the Raspberry Pi. This sensor has to be capable of using wireless technology to create a sensor network for the measurement of the contaminated area. The first part of the thesis deals with the types of ionizing radiation and the methods of its measurement by electrical detectors. The second part is focused on connection of the selected detector on the platform of the Raspberry Pi, the creation of a network between the sensors for the acquisition of measured values and a way of solving the energy storage when system runs on battery. The end of the second part is devoted to the description of the programming of the sensor. In the third and the last chapter is devoted to the evaluation of the final sensor and its comparison with the commercial detector.
