Dávky státní sociální podpory v okresech Olomouc a Přerov

Abstract

This dissertation is focused on state benefits and their development in the districts Olomouc and Přerov in the period of 2008 to 2012. The aim of the thesis is to capture changes in the number of benefits and the costs spent on them as well as to determine the reasons for those changes. Three major factors will be followed - demographic, labor market and legislative. Descriptive methods will be used when describing the benefits, then the analytical method when analyzing the data on the benefits being provided by the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, regional office in Olomouc and finally data comparison method will be used comparing all given data. The dissertation is complemented by practical examples of benefits calculation and the evaluation part is focused on the options of the system of social support improvement.
