Abstract
The main aim of this work is to explain concepts connected with wage policy, characterize McDonald´s company, calculate and compare the salaries of its employees in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, consider the context of the cost of living in the selected territories and find out in which country is better to work for the company.
Data were processed using the method of analysis in exploring basic concepts, calculation method was applied to assess the results of examples of wages, method of comparison when comparing the various calculations in selected countries and a synthesis method in partial summary and conclusion.
By the carried research, it was found that wages in selected countries and at certain positions are very different and considering the context of the cost of living of the selected areas is the best thing to work for McDonald's in the UK.
The results of this study allow students and the general public to think about the advantages of working at McDonald's abroad in selected positions.
