Abstract

Faculty of Safety Engineering The thesis focuses on the concept of safety climate in organizations as a key element for ensuring and maintaining safety culture and workplace safety in general. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts, where the theoretical part provides a deeper understanding of the concept of safety climate, methodologies for measuring it and identifying effective strategies for improving it. The practical part focuses on the analysis and evaluation of the third level of the Safety Culture Award 2022-2023 and is part of the research project 2023/066 of the VŠB - TUO. Overall, the paper summarizes the findings on the relationship between safety culture and safety climate and on effective approaches to improve safety climate in industrial enterprises.
